Wordstitch Editorial Services, run by Hazel Bird, offers proofreading, copy-editing and project management of non-fiction text in pretty much any format you can think of. I am an advanced professional member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP), and when you hire me you can be certain of working with a truly professional editor who will help you make your text the best it can be.

I work with major publishers, authors and businesses around the world, and have edited everything from essays, books and encyclopaedias to websites, business documents and magazine copy. I have over nine years' experience in the book trade and since 2009 I have edited over 20 million words. I regularly receive great feedback from my clients.

My specialisms are literature, history, genealogy, media, culture, memoir, biography and the social sciences, but I work on all sorts of subjects.
